Detoxification and medically managed withdrawal is usually considered the first stage of treatment.

Withdrawal is often medically managed because its symptoms can be uncomfortable and sometimes, life-threatening. But with a medication-assisted detox, these withdrawal symptoms are more tolerable.

Harmony Place is certified to offer medication-assisted treatment during detox and this form of treatment involves administering specific medications to ease the discomfort of withdrawal.

We, however, don’t function as a Suboxone or methadone clinic where our clients keep taking one of these less-addictive opioid drugs without an end in sight. Our goal is to gradually get our clients off these potentially harmful drugs within a short amount of time.

Oftentimes, the environment where someone lived during their time of active addiction becomes imprinted in their brain and this puts them in danger of relapse.

This is the reason why we have a licensed inpatient detox facility that offers a safe and comfortable detox from alcohol and/or drug abuse. We provide a 24-hour observation in this facility through our trained medical staff and our addiction specialists are also available 24/7.

So you can be sure to have access to optimal care round the clock.

Individuals who complete our 30-day residential program have the option to extend their time in treatment by transitioning to our outpatient care. Returning to one’s previous environment following residential treatment is often a set-up for relapse.

This is why we provide a luxuriant transitional home that allows our clients to continue to focus on their recovery in a less clinically intensive setting.

If an individual’s addiction isn’t severe enough to necessitate residential treatment, we have an outpatient treatment program in place.

This outpatient treatment program takes place in a rehab treatment facility that has the same quality of personalized care offered in our residential program.

Our outpatient treatment program is designed to not only serve individuals who are extending their care beyond our residential rehab because it also provides treatment for those who do not require the more structured detox and residential treatment setting.
